Botox & Dermal Fillers in Dubai

“The goal isn’t a frozen face or an overfilled one — it’s a result that looks like a well-rested version of you.“

Fine lines that deepen with expression, volume that softens with age, or features you’d simply
like to enhance — Botox and dermal fillers address different concerns, and knowing which one
(or both) you actually need is the first real step. At Floss & Gloss, every injectable treatment
starts with a facial assessment, not a fixed price list of “areas.”

Botox vs. Dermal Fillers: What's the Difference?

These two treatments are often mentioned in the same breath, but they work very differently —
and many patients benefit from a combination of both, rather than one or the other.

Botox (Anti-Wrinkle Injections) Botox is a purified protein that temporarily relaxes the small facial muscles responsible for expression lines — think forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, and crow’s feet around the eyes. By softening muscle movement, it reduces the appearance of lines caused by repeated expression over time.

Best for: dynamic lines (visible when you make an expression), forehead lines, frown lines,
crow’s feet, and preventative treatment for patients starting to notice early lines forming.

Dermal Fillers
Fillers, typically made from hyaluronic acid (a substance naturally found in skin), add volume
and structure where it’s been lost or is desired — restoring cheek volume, softening nasolabial
folds, defining the jawline, or enhancing lips.
Best for: static volume loss, lip enhancement, cheek and jawline contouring, and softening
deeper folds that don’t respond to muscle-relaxing treatment alone.

Why Choose Floss & Gloss for Botox & Fillers?

  • Facial assessment before injection, every time. We evaluate your facial anatomy, skin, and
goals before recommending any treatment — including telling you if Botox, filler, both, or neither
is the right approach for your specific concern.
  • Conservative, natural-first philosophy. Our approach favors subtle, natural-looking results
that soften with time rather than dramatic, immediately obvious change — you can always add
more in a follow-up, but it’s harder to reverse an overfilled result.
  • Right product for the right area. Not every filler is designed for every facial area. We select
formulations suited to where they’re being placed (fine lines vs. structural volume vs. lips), rather
than using a single product everywhere.
  • Clear aftercare guidance. You’ll leave with specific guidance on what to avoid (and for how
long) to support a smooth, even result.

Am I a Candidate?

Most healthy adults are candidates for Botox and/or filler treatment. Important considerations we
review at consultation:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding — Botox and fillers are generally not recommended
    during this time
  • Certain autoimmune or neuromuscular conditions — may affect candidacy for Botox
    specifically
  • Active skin infection at the injection site — treatment should wait until this clears
  • Realistic goals — we’ll be honest if a concern is better addressed with a different
treatment (e.g., a chemical peel or RF microneedling for texture, rather than filler)

Hyaluronic acid fillers are widely used and, when administered by a
trained professional with an accurate understanding of facial anatomy, are considered a well-
established cosmetic treatment. Choosing a clinic with proper facial assessment and
appropriate product selection is the key safety factor.

Botox typically takes a week or two to show full effect. Fillers
show an immediate result, with any initial swelling settling over the following few days to reveal
the final look.

many patients combine both in a single visit as part of a broader treatment plan, which we'll
discuss during your consultation.

Both treatments typically involve minimal downtime — some redness,
swelling, or mild bruising at injection sites is possible and usually resolves within a few days.discuss during your consultation.

Cost depends on the treatment area(s),
product used, and volume required (for fillers). You'll receive a transparent, itemized quote after
your free consultation.

How Long Do Results Last?

Botox typically lasts around three to four months before muscle movement (and lines) gradually
return, at which point a repeat treatment is needed to maintain results.
Dermal fillers vary more by area and product — lip filler tends to soften faster than structural
cheek or jawline filler. We’ll give you a personalized expectation for the area treated during your
consultation.
